Here are a few information to understand how the MOJJO ladder works.
1. ABOUT THE RULES
SPECIFIC MATCH FORMAT (to fit in 1 hour)
NO-AD, 3 sets of 4 games (tie-break at 3/3), and 3rd set is replaced by a super tie-break (first to 10)
Score example:
3/4 4/1 10-8
When you start filming, choose “ladder format”, so that the match can be recognised in the MOJJO ladder.
ONE CHALLENGE AT A TIME
You can challenge only one player at a time.
CHALLENGE DURATION
Once challenged, players have 15 days to play the match. If the challenged player declines the challenge, or if the match does not take place in time, the challenge is cancelled.
CHALLENGE PLACE
On a mojjo court : to get the video & stats, play your match on a MOJJO court ! On the kiosk, launch the match mode, then choose “ladder format” so that the match can be recognised in the MOJJO ladder, and the ranking automatically updated.
On another court : if you cannot play on a MOJJO court, play your match on another court, and respect the ladder score format (see above). After the match, enter the score in your personal account in order to update the MOJJO ladder.
CHALLENGE CONDITIONS
You can challenge players up to 6 rungs above and below you.
MOJJO LADDER LAUNCH CONDITIONS
The Men’s MOJJO ladder starts as soon as 10 players joined it (5 for the other MOJJO ladders).
2. ABOUT THE RANKING
POINTS AT LAUNCH
You are granted a certain amount of points, depending on your LTA ranking.
POINTS CALCULATION
It is based on the Elo ranking
Example:
A player ranked 8.2 beats an 8.1 => the 8.2 will earn a certain amount of points (more important than if he had beaten a 9.1), and the 8.1 will lose the same amount of points.
RANKING UPDATE
The MOJJO ladder is automatically updated after every match.
The player activity is available to all the other MOJJO ladder’s players
Example:
John, ranked 8.1, can check the activity of his future opponent Pat, who already played 2 matches in the MOJJO ladder.
